Senior  at WCSU & Student Teacher 

My name is Brianne and I am an elementary education major with an academic concentration in social sciences and am treasurer of the Ed Club. I love working with children; they bring happiness to me that I never expected to get from my career. I also love to learn about people, I find us to be such amazing beings and truly enjoy learning about why and how we do the things we do. I love to read, cook, learn, laugh, and spend time with those I love, especially my doggie Gypsy. I can't commit to just one favorite color, but I suppose that this week, it's barnyard red, hahaha. My favorite flower is the gerbera daisy and my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, while my favorite book of all time is Pride and Prejudice. I love the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's (hate the book), and find Audrey Hepburn to be a rare gem, and beautiful role model. When life gets complicated, I have learned to step back and make decisions that are true to who I am, honesty is my number one policy, and so I am always honest with myself first. I love to take on challenges and am always willing to learn from the good and bad that comes from life. Well, that's all for now 

Hi, my name is Corinne Cioffi

I'm going to be a freshmen at WestConn this Fall and i'm very excited to start my career! I have always had a passion for teaching, preferbly Special education i would love to teach because i can relate because i have a learning disability and have overcame many obstacles! I love to help and motivate others. I also love giving back, my senior year of high school i put on a fashion show "Fashion For A Cause" raising money for the special ed. department at my local elementary school to help them get new technology to help make learning more enjoyable for the kids, and for them to stay focused. ( I pads/ touchscreens etc.) that night i raised $3,500 for the school. So i think this club is perfect for me to get more involved in helping others!
